Townsville hospital patient dies after violent incident in dementia ward

An investigation is underway at the Townsville University Hospital after a 77-year-old patient was critically injured by another patient and later died.

Queensland Police say they will prepare a report for the coroner after the man died from his injuries in hospital overnight.
