Townsquare Media (TSQ) Surpasses Q2 Earnings And Revenue Estimates

Townsquare Media (NYSE:TSQ) came out with quarterly earnings of $0.71 per share, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.63 per share. This compares to earnings of $0.53 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.

This quarterly report represents an earnings surprise of 12.70%. A quarter ago, it was expected that this operator of radio stations in small and mid-sized markets would post earnings of $0.23 per share when it actually produced earnings of $0.19, delivering a surprise of -17.39%.
