TOWIE star Tommy Mallet has revealed doctors have told him he is at risk of developing type two diabetes, as he begins to embark on a healthier lifestyle.
The reality TV star, 29, admitted hearing the news felt like his "whole world had been turned upside down", and he has since been "trying really hard" to lose some weight.
Elsewhere in his latest interview ahead of the new series of Georgia and Tommy: Baby Steps, the dad-of-one discussed the possibility of himself and fiancée Georgia Kousoulou welcoming another child into the world soon.
"My whole world has been turned upside down the last week to be honest with you. It is mad. I did a 360 test with blood tests and I am at risk of type 2 diabetes. I am really healthy," Tommy told the MailOnline.
He went on to explain that when suffering with a bout of coronavirus, he began eating a bit of sugar as he couldn't taste anything, but the sweet treats seem to "have got the better" of him.
After stating he is working really hard to lose some body fat, the Essex native added: "I have seen a top nutritionist so I am working on it but the baby has the flu and he has been crying all night.
"I have been up all night with him. So it is a bit of a warzone to be honest with you."
Tommy and Georgia, 30, became parents for the first time last year, when TOWIE star gave birth to their son Brody.
In February this year - nine months on from their child's birth - Tommy popped the question to the mum-of-one during a romantic trip to Mexico.
Georgia took to Instagram at the time to share the happy news with her fans - posting a snap of the moment Tommy asked her to be his wife.
In the sweet image, the mum-of-one can be seen holding her son in her arms, as her beau presents a ring to her while down one knee.
Tommy even decorated a beach pergola with hundreds of red roses for the romantic gesture.
Speaking in his new interview, the dad-of-one gave an insight into what life is like at home for him and Georgia and a young baby.
When quizzed about whether he would like more children in the future, Tommy admitted it "would be nice to have a girl next" but seemingly rule out expanding their family in the immediate future.
"He [Brody] has not slept all night. Me and Georgia are all over the place. The last thing on my mind is that," he joked after revealing his young son had been particularly restless the night before the interview.
