The Only Way Is Essex stars Pete Wicks and Chloe Sims have fallen out again in the latest twist of their ongoing relationship drama.
The 40-year-old model and influencer unfollowed her co-star and former BFF earlier this week, and removed pictures of him from her Instagram grid.
The couple have had a tumultuous relationship over the last few years, and in 2020, Pete admitted he had been sleeping with Chloe for two years, but their romance ended when they had a bitter falling out.
Now, it’s been reported the future of filming on the ITVBe show may be in doubt, as Pete and Chloe are on such bad terms they can’t be in the same room together.
According to The Sun, the ex lovers won’t be reuniting on screen anytime soon, and a source told the outlet that producers are hoping they will bury the hatchet and make up by the time production begins in June.
“It could be a disaster for Towie as Chloe is saying she won't be able to film with Pete,” they stated.
“Everyone on the show is worried that by the time filming starts, they'll have made up and all the drama will have happened off camera - not on!”
Late last year, Chloe and Pete sparked dating rumours once again, as they were spotted shopping together at Christmas.
The latest twist in their on-again/off-again relationship comes after scenes of their bitter break-up aired on TOWIE, as Chloe was left devastated following Pete’s failure to commit to her.
In October 2020, he shared details of their secret two-year romance, which took place when they were both in various other relationships.
He told The Sun there were “blurred lines” and added: ”We haven't been officially seeing each other but there's definitely been times it's been more than just a friendship.”
Pete and Chloe fought during an episode of TOWIE, as it was revealed he divulged details of their secret trysts during a therapy session, leaving her devastated.
They didn’t speak for months, but later reconciled, with the couple sparking yet more romance rumours as they were spotted getting cosy in November last year while celebrating Pete’s birthday.
Despite the heartbreak, mum-of-one Chloe said she had no regrets over the secret relationship.
“No I don't because although it ended in years on the show, we had so many good times,” she told a follower during an Instagram Q&A.
“Unfortunately you guys just didn't see them. We always sort it out in the end & we love each other x.”
