Amber Turner and Dan Edgar's relationship is reportedly on the rocks with explosive scenes set to unfold in the upcoming series of TOWIE.
The couple, who have been in an on-off relationship for four years, are said to be at the centre of the storyline for the new season, after Ella Rae Wise accused the hunk, 32, of flirting.
Ella, 21, is said to have claimed in a voice message Dan was "all over her" and "always wanted a piece" of her.
The rumours are said to have left Amber, 28, stunned as the cast film scenes in the Caribbean.
A source told MailOnline: "Amber couldn't believe what she was hearing.
"She lives with Dan, they have been together for years and share a dog, she thought they had moved on from Essex rumours and gossip.
"To be confronted with this all during filming for the new series in the Dominican Republic was hard for her too, she didn't expect to be at the forefront of another storyline about her relationship."

Ella has caused a stir on TOWIE and has already had a string of romances on the show, including Pete Wicks, 33.
Meanwhile Dan and Amber's have had their fair share of ups and downs over the years, with the Lothario enjoying a fling with Chloe Sims in 2019 during a break in their romance.
In recent years, their turbulent romance seems to have become stronger with the couple even moving in together and getting a Cockerpoo.
Their relationship woes come after new cast member Pia Grace Smith told fans of the reality show that "half the cast" have been removed from a flight to the UK.
Speaking on her Instagram Story from Madrid airport, she bemoaned the fact that she wouldn't be getting home until the early hours after an "incident" saw a number of the reality stars asked to leave the flight.
The cast members had been in the Dominican Republic for filming but due to a refusal to wear masks, they were thrown off the flight home, when it reached Spain.
Speaking to the camera while in the airport, Pia said: "So, 24 hours later, we’re still not travelling."
She continued: "We got chucked off the flight because we didn’t wear masks. There was like half the cast that got chucked off but we’ve had to sit in Madrid airport for 10 hours.
"I’m not going to get back to UK soil until 11.30 so I won’t be home in my bed until 1am."
Pia concluded by describing the situation by saying: "This is nuts"
Hannah Voyan and Mia Sully as well as Pia Smith were among those asked to leave.
An Air Europa spokeswoman said: "There was an incident on the flight.
"Following protocol, several passengers were asked to leave the plane for refusing to wear the mandatory masks and one of them for smoking inside the aircraft.
"While leaving the plane, they were accompanied by other passengers without further incident."
