A tourist was left puzzled yesterday after seeing Netflix and TV star Phil Rosenthal filming in Edinburgh city centre.
The creator of Everybody Loves Raymond was snapped on Victoria Street in the Old Town ahead of a talk at the Usher Hall last night about his popular Netflix show.
After Phil's appearance, rumours started to circulate he was in the capital to film an episode for his hit streaming series ‘Somebody Feed Phil’, reports Edinburgh Live.
After seeing the star, a woman shared a hilarious clip on TikTok of her playing detective as she tried to figure out just who the mysterious celebrity actually was.
Molly Cochrane described the picturesque Victoria Street as being filled with filming crew members wearing ear pieces as they tried to clear space for shots.
Phil was said to be on the set for around an hour and despite her best efforts, Molly was unable to decipher his identity until after she posted her clip on Friday afternoon.
The 63-year-old was spotted wearing beige trousers and a white t-shirt whilst camera operators captured him walking through the historic street.
‘Somebody Feed Phil’ will enter its seventh season and it looks as though Auld Reekie’s culinary delights may well make an appearance.
The show has gained massive popularity as Phil tries to showcase the best, but affordable and accessible, restaurants in international locations.
