While Yr Wyddfa is undoubtedly one of Wales' most beautiful feats of nature, it seems as though some tourists were unimpressed with the Eryri landmark brandishing it "too steep" and told others to 'save teir time and not go' in a bizarre Trip Advisor review. And this wasn't the only unique rating, with another renaming it "Poo-down" due to the number of people allegedly caught short on the mountain.
North Wales Live reports that some people who opted to spend the day climbing Wales' highest peak were not too impressed. Some left one star reviews and didn't mince their words in their rating of the peak. One said: "What are they thinking? It's way too rough and steep.
"The weather is atrocious and whatever possessed them to put it in Wales? It would be much better in Cornwall."

Another added: "Poo-down should be it’s name, not Snowdon. Can’t believe how many people were crouching down having a poo on the way up.
"Most off putting, can’t they go before they climb?" Elsewhere in the UK, some were not impressed with Stonehenge, a prehistoric monument on Salisbury Plain which attracts more than 800,000 visitors a year.
One review said: "It's a pile of rocks, and everyone on the A303 slows down to look at them. Pointless. Save yourself the time and don't go."
Another commented: "Some humdrum old rocks about twice the height of a Mondeo driver." But it's not just Yr Wyddfa that has found itself on the receiving end of some of Trip Advisor's reviewers, other UK landmarks have also received less than favourable comments.
Heading further north, one visitor to Blackpool Pleasure Beach was far from happy. They said: "It's a rip off for grannies. Why expect a granny holding coats to pay full price? As if they're going on the Big One."
One tourist wasn't best pleased after a trip to the Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland. They said: "Just a pile of odd-shaped rocks. No giants. It positively brims with scenery that loves to be photographed. Although I think the giant is camera shy."
Lastly, after climbing up Arthur's Seat - an ancient hill in Edinburgh - one hiker took the name a little too literally. They said: "No seat at the top. It's called Arthur's Seat. No seat at the top or anyone by the name of Arthur. Total rip. If I had paid to go I would have asked for my money back due to false advertising. Luckily it's free."
