Golf footwear has come a long way since the days of plain black or white shoes with metal spikes. The modern golfer is spoiled for choice with a huge variety of styles and designs to choose from. Some are designed for winter golf, others for summer. Some have spikes, some are spikeless, some retain the classic design while others have a modern, stylish look. Indeed, golf fashion has evolved so much that many golfers now wear sneaker style shoes that perform just as well away from the golf course as they do on it.
One of our favourite brands is TRUE Linkswear, a relatively new company based out of the Pacific Northwest that excels in producing spikeless, comfortable shoes with modern styling. The brand was formed by brothers Jason and Ryan Moore in 2009. Ryan is a PGA Tour pro who you may remember sinking the winning putt to clinch the 2016 Ryder Cup for the US at Hazeltine. While his primary focus remains competing on Tour, Ryan has a passion for helping TRUE produce trendy, comfortable shoes for a younger demographic of golfers.
