When Tour Edge releases new equipment in its Exotics family, the brand typically does it in pairs, partnering game-improvement woods and irons with related offerings designed for more accomplished golfers. With the new Exotics 723 Series, the Chicago-based company again has dropped two sets of drivers, fairway woods, hybrids and irons simultaneously, with the new Exotics E723 clubs (Extreme Spec) made for golfers who want more distance plus forgiveness and the Exotics C723 clubs (Competition Spec) for golfers who need lower-spinning gear that allows them to shape shots.
Below are the details on both the new E723 and the C723 woods and irons.
Exotics E723, Exotic C723 drivers
Gear: Exotics E723, Exotic C723 drivers
Price: $449 (E723) / $499 (C723)
Specs: 460-cubic-centimeter head with carbon fiber panels, sliding 20-gram weight and adjustable hosel for the E723; 445-cubic-centimeter head with carbon fiber panels, interchangeable weights and adjustable hosel for the C723.
The Exotics E723 drivers were designed to be the most stable and forgiving drivers Tour Edge has ever made. To achieve that, the company made each head using four large carbon fiber panels – two on the crown and two on the sole – to reduce weight and allow engineers to shift more mass into areas that benefit performance.
Most of that mass is in a 20-gram sliding weight system that Tour Edge calls a Flight Tuning System. It allows golfers to move the club’s center of gravity to encourage a draw or a fade off the tee, and in every setting the weight pulls the center of gravity down and back, away from the face. It dramatically increases the moment of inertia, so the Exotics E723 twists less on off-center hits.
To help maximize ball speed, the inner-facing side of the titanium face was divided into diamond-shaped zones with various thicknesses. The company said this Diamond Face VFT broadens the sweet spot, delivers more distance on well-struck shots and protects ball speed on mis-hits.
The Exotics C723 driver also has four large carbon panels and Diamond Face VFT. Both clubs also have an adjustable hosel that allows players and fitters to increase or decrease the loft by as many as 2 degrees and change the lie angle within a 3-degree range.
What makes the Exotics C723 different is its smaller head (445 cubic centimeters instead of 460), and it has two swappable weights instead of the one found in the Exotics E723. It comes with a 5-gram weight in the front and a 15-gram weight in the back. With the heavier weight in the rear, the Exotics C723 has a moment of inertia that nearly matches the Exotics E723. Switching the heavier weight to the front reduces spin by as many as 300 rpm and lowers the launch angle for golfers who otherwise might produce excessive, distance-robbing spin.

Specs: Stainless steel body and face with carbon fiber crown and adjustable hosel for the E723; titanium face and body with carbon fiber crown and adjustable hosel for the C723
Like their driver counterparts, the Exotics E723 and C723 fairway woods were designed to meet the needs and priorities of different players.
The Exotics E723 emphasizes stability and forgiveness. It has a light carbon fiber crown and a 10-gram weight in the back of the sole to lower the center of gravity and pull it away from the hitting area to encourage a higher ball flight with more spin and boost stability. It also features a maraging steel, variable-thickness face and a RyzerSole design that includes a pair of rails to help the club skim through the turf more efficiently and maintain speed in the hitting zone.
The Exotics C723 is for golfers who want low-spin, driver-like distance and the ability to shape shots. It has a more compact shape and a deeper profile, and it was designed with a titanium face and body and a carbon fiber crown to reduce weight.
The Exotics C723 also has a railed RyzerSole design, but this one benefits from adding 75 grams of tungsten that helps drive down the center of gravity. And like the Exotics C723 driver, the fairway wood has two adjustable weights in the sole, a 15-gram weight in the forward position and a 5-gram weight in the back port. The weights can be swapped to increase or decrease the spin rate by as many as 200 rpm.

Price: $249.99 (E723) / $269.99 (C723)
Specs: Maraging stainless steel face and body with carbon fiber crown and adjustable hosel
The Exotics E723 and Exotics C723 hybrids utilize many of the technologies found in the drivers to create versatile, long-iron replacement clubs.
Both options feature carbon fiber crowns to remove excess weight from the top of the club and lower the center of gravity, along with Diamond VRT faces that help enlarge the sweet spot and protect ball speed on off-center hits. They also have railed Ryzersole Technology sole designs to improve turf interaction. An adjustable hosel allows golfers and fitters to adjust the loft up or down by as many as 1.5 degrees.
The Exotics E723 hybrids are larger from front to back and have a weight in the back of the sole that increases stability and encourages a higher ball flight with more spin. The Exotics C723 hybrids are more compact and feature a sole weight behind the leading edge that reduces spin and promotes a lower, more-piercing flight.

Price: $699 steel/$799.99 graphite (E723); $899.99 steel/$999.99 graphite (C723)
Specs: Stainless steel body with variable-thickness stainless steel face and injected thermoplastic polyurethane foam.
The Exotics E723 is a true game-improvement iron that builds on the foundation laid by the Exotics E722.
Like the Exotics E723 woods, the irons have a Diamond VFT face designed to maximize ball speed and broaden the sweet spot. It is complemented by a 360-degree undercut that adds weight to the head’s perimeter for increased stability while also helping lower the center of gravity to encourage higher-flying shots.
Extra weight in the toe counteracts the mass of the hosel and shifts the ideal hitting area into the center of the face (instead of allowing it to remain toward the heel).
Finally, more thermoplastic polyurethane that Tour Edge calls Vibrcor has been injected into a pocket behind the face. The material soaks up excessive vibrations to enhance sound and feel.
The Exotics C723 is a smaller iron designed to appeal to better players, but it shares many of the same features and benefits of the E723.
The Exotics C723 irons have the L-shaped Diamond Face VFT hitting area to broaden the sweet spot from heel to toe and allow the lower portion of the hitting area to flex more efficiently on thin shots.
Tour Edge added Vibrcor for enhanced sound and feel, but the Exotics C723 irons have a thin forged stainless steel face that is plasma-welded to a 17-4 stainless steel body.
These hollow-bodied irons have a shorter blade length and thinner topline than the Exotics C722 irons they replace.
