Tottenham have both Cristian Romero and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg available and starting for tonight’s Champions League clash with Sporting Lisbon.
The pair sat out Sunday’s 2-1 defeat to Newcastle but Antonio Conte was hopeful they would be fit to face the Portuguese side this evening following minor muscle injuries and they return to the lineup. Forwards Dejan Kulusevski and Richarlison remain sidelined, limiting Conte’s options up front.
In their absence, it’s a rare start for Lucas Moura in the front three, with Conte hoping the Brazilian can help get Spurs back on track after their recent sluggish displays.

Conte had said it would be a risk to start Lucas Moura as he continues to recover from a hamstring problem, but he gets the nod to start alongside Harry Kane and Heung-min Son.
“Lucas Moura is a player who is recovering from a long injury in his tendons,” Conte said in his pre-match press conference. “But there are moments when you have to try to take some risks. But we will see.
“I want to check tomorrow the real situation with the injuries, who is ready to play from the start or not and I’m waiting until the morning and then I will take the best decision.”
