Antonio Conte lost his third game in a row for the first time since 2009 after a comedy of errors dealt Spurs a massive blow in the race to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
Raul Jimenez and Leander Dendocker pounced on a series of defensive mistakes in the first-half, forcing Conte into a brutally early change before his team were booed off at the break.
After a formation change and the introduction of new signing Dejan Kulusevski, Spurs did enjoy more of the ball in attacking areas but simply could not find a way past a Wolves team with a hugely impressive defensive record.
Wolves have duly moved ahead of Spurs into seventh now as Conte plots how to turn this season around after a miserable week.
