Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to bounce back after their shock defeat away to Sporting CP in the Champions League when they return to Premier League action at home to Leicester City after an enforced delay on domestic football last weekend.
Spurs are the favourites going into this Premier League clash at 19/40 with Betway while the Foxes are 11/2 and a draw is 7/2. The hosts have won seven of their last nine league matches against Leicester including the last three meetings but have never picked up four consecutive league wins against the visitors before.
Antonio Conte saw his side lose 2-0 at the hands of the Portuguese giants with a notable performance from former Spurs youth player Marcus Edwards. The Italian manager was far from impressed with what he saw as well as making a comment on new signing Yves Bissouma who he says is yet to grasp the tactical side of his game.
For Leicester, well it has been far from the Brendan Rodgers side we are used to seeing, from battling for a spot in the Champions League and FA Cup winners to the foot of the Premier League table. Lack of investment over the last summer transfer windows and losing the likes of Kasper Schmeichel will not help the dynamic in the dressing room. A humbling defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion two weeks ago demonstrated how far this side has fallen.
