Here is your Tottenham transfer roundup on Wednesday, January 11.
Chelsea battle for Sporting CP star
Tottenham will battle it out with Chelsea to sign Sporting CP right-back Pedro Porro. It's understood that contact has been made over a deal with the former Manchester City defender a target for Antonio Conte.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has reported that Spurs have made contact with the player's intermediaries to complete the deal this month. The Portuguese giants have made it clear that only €45million (£40million) release clause will be enough to warrant a move.
It remains to be seen whether they will waver from that stance, however, and with plenty of time left in the window, there could be some twists and turns on the horizon.

Lucas Moura decision made
Tottenham have chosen not to trigger the option in Lucas Moura's contract to extend his stay at the club, according to reports.
This season, Moura has started only two games of his 11 appearances in all competitions after recovering from a tendon injury. After the arrival of Dejan Kulusevski last January, Conte has persistently opted to use the Swedish forward alongside Harry Kane, Richarlison and Son Heung-min in attack
Now, according to the Telegraph, Spurs have decided against extending the contract of the hero of their 2019 Champions League run, and will part ways with Moura in the summer. The winger is now free to discuss a free transfer with overseas clubs for the 2023/24 season.
Former defender eyed for return
Spurs are reportedly 'keeping tabs' on Southampton right-back Kyle Walker-Peters, but face competition from Manchester United and Chelsea.
According to talkSPORT's Alex Crook, Spurs are one of the clubs interested in the defender this month. However, should Antonio Conte land the defender, Spurs will have to first overcome competition from Manchester United and Chelsea.
The report claims Erik ten Hag's men have shortlisted the ex-Spurs man as a replacement for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who has been tipped to leave this month. Chelsea are also searching for a new right-back as a deputy to Reece James following his repeated injury problems.
It's understood that Walker-Peters is pushing for a move from Southampton after stalling on extending his stay, opening the door for Spurs to solve Conte's ongoing issue at right wing-back.
