Your morning Tottenham transfer round-up on Tuesday, January 17.
Brighton set Leandro Trossard asking price
Trossard was dropped from the Brighton team that beat Liverpool at the weekend as the forward's agent released a statement demanding his client is granted a transfer exit out of the club. Arsenal sporting director Edu Gaspar has had previous dealings involving transfers with Brighton, agreeing a £50million deal to sign Ben White from the Seagulls in 2021, whilst Spurs have also done business with the south-coast club recently after signing Yves Bissouma in the summer.
Spurs are believed to have verbally offered £12million for the Belgium international – which was rejected out of hand – while Arsenal have also emerged as a potential destination, according to The Metro.
A report from talkSPORT suggests Brighton are prepared to grant the Belgian attacker his wish and let him leave in the January transfer window, but only if an interested club pays their asking price of £25millon. That is over twice what Tottenham value the attacker at, but Brighton will not be ‘bullied’ in negotiations, whilst Arsenal also value Trossard below their £25million valuation.

Sporting eye Pedro Porro replacement
Turkish media have revealed Sporting are chasing a deal for Galatasaray right-back Sacha Boey, as per journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu.
A report from O Jogo says Boey would be a target in case Pedro Porro completes a transfer to Tottenham in January. Manager Ruben Amorim many times claimed he wants Porro to stay at the club, so his potential January move to Tottenham would be the only possibility that would explain the board spending that much on a fullback in the middle of the season.

Hugo Lloris alternative close to Bayern transfer
Bayern Munich are reportedly hopeful they can strike a deal this week to sign Borussia Monchengladbach goalkeeper Yann Sommer, who is believed to be a target for Tottenham.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Bavarian giants will meet with their Bundesliga rivals this week for more discussions over the Swiss international, with Sommer now the clear favourite to replace Manuel Neuer for the German champions for the remainder of the season.
