Hull, Sunderland, Portsmouth and Luton are all pursuing a loan deal for Tottenham youngster Harvey White before tonight’s 11pm transfer deadline.
Stoke have also enquired about the 20-year-old midfielder, although the Potters' interest relates to a summer move.
White is part of Spurs' first-team squad and was twice an unused substitute against London rivals Chelsea this month.
He is highly-rated by Spurs head coach Antonio Conte, who would have to approve any loan exit today.
White spent the second half of last season on loan at League One Portsmouth and could return to Fratton Park, although Hull and Luton can offer Championship football.
Spurs are set to sign a new midfielder on deadline day in Rodrigo Bentancur, and are continuing to work on deals to offload Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso, with Dele Alli also surplus to requirements.
