Here is your Tottenham transfer roundup on Saturday, January 7.
Spurs told to sign their own van Dijk
Tottenham have been urged to sign 'their own Virgil van Dijk' as Antonio Conte looks to bolster his backline in the January transfer window. Spurs have been heavily linked with a number of centre-backs recently, with Daniel Levy eager to solve the club's defensive frailties.
"They have to go out and get their own Virgil van Dijk," Gabby Agbonlahor told TalkSport via Football Insider. "When they brought in Lenglet, I was surprised – because he’d been found out at Barcelona.
"They need some players in this area if they’re going to be anywhere near the top end of the table, and I think it’s somewhere where you need to spend big," the former Aston Villa striker added. "There’s no point bringing in any more players like Lenglet."

Dumfries' agent issues update
Denzel Dumfries' agent, Rafaela Pimenta, has provided a fresh update on his client's future amid interest from Tottenham. The Inter Milan defender has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League for some time now but a switch is yet to materialise.
football.london understands that Antonio Conte has two priorities in the January transfer window; to sign a new attacking player and a right wing-back. It's believed that the north Londoners will be looking at both permanent and loan deals in order to grant the Spurs boss his wish.
Dumfries, who sees his deal at the San Siro expire in 2025, is said to be one of several candidates on Fabio Paratici's radar after impressing for Netherlands at the World Cup. However, according to Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter have given the defender a €60million (£53million) price tag.
Speaking to Rai Sport, as quoted by Calciomercato, Dumfries' agent addressed the speculation regarding his client's future. Pimenta said: "Denzel has played in great World Cups.
"I think Inter are happy [with him]. Today, he is an Inter player, he has the Nerazzurri colours in his heart. Then we'll see what happens."
Gvardiol latest
According to Bild, Spurs are among a list of clubs who want Josko Gvardiol in the summer as Daniel Levy aims to maintain Antonio Conte as the club's head coach. The north Londoners are expected to bolster the Italian's side in the January transfer window with at least two signings before the end of the month.
The report from Germany suggests that Spurs could lure Gvardiol from Leipzig with an offer of around €80million-€100million (£70million-£88million). The defender would fit the bill perfectly for Conte, who admitted after Christmas that any signings must confirm to the club's policy of signing.
The Italian boss said: "Young players, players with not big salaries. We have to sign players, that they can stay in our vision, in the vision of the club."
