Tottenham got back to winning ways at the weekend with an impressive win over Leicester City as they continue to put pressure on Arsenal in the race for Champions League football next year. A goal from Harry Kane and two for Heung Min-Son secured the win against Brendan Rodgers' men as they prepare to travel to Anfield on Saturday night.
It came after two disappointing results in the Premier League with Spurs losing to Brighton and drawing to Brentford. Spurs are now sitting in fifth place ahead of a huge few weeks in which they'll face Liverpool and Arsenal back-to-back, with the latter fixture likely going a long way to deciding who claims the final Champions League spot.

Tottenham to bid for long-term target Joao Palhinha
Portuguese outlet Jornal de Notícias have reported that Spurs will make a bid for long-term target Sporting midfielder Joao Palhinha and that a bid will go in 'within the month'. Conte has hinted that he's looking to bring a defensive midfielder, and the 26-year-old will almost certainly be a candidate after another excellent season in Portugal.
The outlet has reported that finishing in a Champions League spot which provide Spurs with a huge boost in their hopes to secure his signing, with the player reportedly interested in playing in the Premier League.
It is expected that Palhinha will likely cost around £40 million.
Spurs express interest in David Carmo
Portuguese outlet A Bola claim Spurs have expressed their interest in Braga defender David Carmo after having a breakout season. The 22-year-old has bounced back after suffering a major injury last season, and has put himself on the radar for a number of top European clubs.
The outlet claims that Spurs have opened negotiations with the Portuguese side regarding a potential move in the summer transfer window.
Borussia Dortmund are also reportedly highly-interested and are in communications with the Braga. Carmo is a towering, aerial dominant left-sided centre back.
