Tottenham team Motherwell could face in London friendly

Motherwell will take on English Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur in a friendly on Friday, providing the Fir Park side with a stern test ahead of their return to Scottish Premiership action on December 17.

Sadly for any Steelmen supporters tuning in to catch their team in action when the game is streamed live, Steven Hammell's men won't be coming up against superstars Harry Kane, Hugo Lloris or Ivan Perisic with those key Spurs men still in Qatar on World Cup duty with England, France and Croatia, respectively.

It is likely there will be one familiar face to Scottish football fans, with ex-Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Forster expected to start in goal with Lloris preparing to take on England in a crunch World Cup quarter-final clash on Saturday night.

But it won't be the fully-fledged Spurs side some may expect. Brazilian Lucas Moura, who missed the cut for the World Cup squad, could also be missing after it looked like he wasn't in their last training session.

With this in mind, Football London has revealed the team they believe boss Antonio Conte could pick to line up against Motherwell, with some first-choice players away or out of action due to injury.

For Motherwell, they will be keen to give game time to the likes of Louis Moult, Stuart McKinstry and Ross Tierney.

The latter two were struggling with injuries after the last competitive match away to St Johnstone on November 12, which they drew 1-1, while Moult is trying to build up his match fitness after making his first start for the Steelmen in that clash, following his loan move from Burton Albion in September.

As they build towards their Premiership return on December 17 at home to St Mirren, defender Paul McGinn could also be on the comeback trail after he was ruled out for a number of weeks in early November.

Spurs have announced they will stream the match at Tottenham's training ground live and exclusively on their SPURSPLAY service, kick-off 1pm, although no details of any pay-per-view option has been announced as yet.

Motherwell hope to update fans as soon as possible if and when details are confirmed.
