Tottenham Hotspur have been handed a considerable transfer blow with Adama Traore having had his switch to Barcelona confirmed.
The Wolverhampton Wanderers’ winger was strongly linked with a move to north London throughout the January transfer window as Antonio Conte aimed to bolster his right wing-back position. Meanwhile, Chelsea were also rumoured to be considering a swoop in the summer as Thomas Tuchel also attempted to strengthen his right-side - a move for Achraf Hakimi also falling flat.
A repeat has happened in this window, with both Spurs and Chelsea have lost out though, with Traore sealing an emotional return to former club Barcelona.
