Tottenham could accidentally help Chelsea fund a bid for Victor Osimhen if they don't sell Harry Kane to Real Madrid. The 29-year-old striker faces an increasingly uncertain future in north London, with his contract expiring in 12 months.
Prior to the departure of Fabio Paratici in April, football.london understood that the Italian had been in contact with Kane's entourage to discuss an extension. It's said that the England international is open to discussing a new deal but, as it stands, he's yet to commit his long-term future to Spurs.
With an exit on the cards, he's attracted some interest from some top European clubs. Chelsea and Manchester United have been mooted as potential destinations in the English top-flight but, if he's looking to go overseas, Real Madrid are reportedly keen.

According to Spanish outlet Revelo, Carlo Ancelotti's side have prepared a plan to sign Kane this summer despite knowing that it could be difficult to reach an agreement with Tottenham. However, if Real Madrid cannot get their hands on the Englishman then they will turn their attention to Kai Havertz.
The report states that Mauricio Pochettino 'wouldn't mind' if the 23-year-old forward left, making way for another signing. Despite the Blues' unfortunate results this season, the CIES Football Observatory still value Havertz at €80million (£68.7million).
The Germany international has been operated as a make-shift striker at Chelsea for a few years now despite arriving as one of Europe's most exciting young playmakers. Havertz has thrived in an attacking midfield role for his country but, as a false-nine, he's understandably struggled to have the same impact.
With Christopher Nkunku expected to join the west Londoners this summer, Havertz would still likely be used as a striker. So, if he were to leave then he'd be making space for the signing of a striker – and that could potentially be Victor Osimhen.
While Napoli are desperate to hold onto the 24-year-old striker this summer, football.london understands that Chelsea are considering a bid which could cost as much as €150million (£130million). Following the Italian side's draw against Bologna last month, Luciano Spalletti was quizzed on the Nigerian's future by DAZN.
As quoted by Football Italia, the former Napoli boss said: "When players start working in a certain way, you identify their characteristics and find paths to give them service. Osimhen is good in open spaces, in the air, with the ball passed to his feet.
"He will have an important future, no matter what team he plays in, and is above all a good lad too. His teammates love him, he helps them out and resolves situations rather than complains. He will become even more of a top player in future."
