Against the odds, Antonio Conte's Tottenham secured three precious points at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, which ended the club's rot of three consecutive Premier League defeats.

Pep Guardiola's Manchester City went into the fixture with a six-point cushion ahead of second-placed Liverpool but couldn't extend their strong lead.

The victory means Spurs sit eighth in the Premier League, seven points off fourth placed Manchester United, although Conte's side have three games in hand on the Red Devils.
