Tottenham's next six Premier League fixtures compared to Arsenal, Man Utd, West Ham and Wolves

Tottenham moved into fourth place on Sunday evening with a 5-1 thrashing against Newcastle in north London as the battle to qualify for next season's Champions League hots up.

Arsenal will have the chance to steal that place back on Monday night when they travel to Crystal Palace, and with a game in hand over Antonio Conte's men, the Gunners still hold the upper hand. But having not played in Europe's premier competition since their defeat in the final to Liverpool in 2019, Harry Kane and co. will be hungry to win the race.

Manchester United, West Ham and Wolves also harbour hopes of stealing that final spot for themselves. With all this in mind, football.london takes a look at the upcoming fixtures of the clubs and how they compare.

Tottenham's next six Premier League fixtures

Aston Villa (A) - April 9

Tottenham travel to Villa Park in their first away fixture of the month and it will be another vital chance to get three points against a side who managed just one shot on target against Arsenal in their most recent fixture. The Lilywhites beat a Villa side managed by Dean Smith earlier in the season during Nuno Espirito Santo's shortlived reign and will hope they can secure another three points in the reverse match.

Brighton (H) - April 16

Just a month after their rescheduled away fixture against Graham Potter's side, Brighton will travel to N17 for the second game of the season between the two sides. Tottenham's performance at the AMEX Stadium was one with composure and Conte's side dominated large parts of the game, so if they can do the same again, it will hopefully be another win for Spurs.

Brentford (A) - April 23

It will be a special match for the Lilywhites when they travel to play Brentford, with fans hopefully being able to see Christian Eriksen play in the Premier League for the first time since his north London departure. Eriksen will be delayed in joining Denmark for international duty due to catching Covid, but he will hopefully be able to play for his country and recover completely in time for The Bees return to league action.

Leicester (H) - April 30

Brendan Rodgers' side will travel to N17 a few weeks after Premier League action resumes. In the reverse match of this fixture, Tottenham secured three points in a thrilling 3-2 victory which saw Steven Bergwijn score two injury time goals to help his side to victory.

Leicester currently sit 10th in the league table and are 10 points behind eighth-placed Wolves. With The Foxes losing 11 of their 29 fixtures so far this season, it will be a game that Tottenham will hope they can get another three points out of.

Liverpool (A) - May 7

A week after the Leicester tie, Spurs will then have to make the difficult trip to Anfield and with their track record at Liverpool, there may not be so much hope of getting maximum points from the tie. However, if Spurs can return from the international break and get a string of wins together, Conte will have more hope that his side can travel to Merseyside and pick up an unlikely win against a side who are currently just a point off the top spot.

Burnley (H) - May 15

Facing sides threatened with relegation late in the season can be a tricky task but there is no doubting that Conte should be confident of collecting all three points against Sean Dyche and co. in north London. Burnley currently sit in 19th place, four points from safety so it will be fascinating to see where they stand come the middle of May.

*Tottenham vs. Arsenal will be played at some point but an official date is yet to be confirmed.
