Tottenham's next five fixtures compared to Arsenal, Man United and Newcastle in top four race

Tottenham took a break from their usual Premier League scheduling to play in the FA Cup fourth round on Saturday evening. The Lilywhites took a trip to Lancashire to face Championship side Preston North End, with the home side eyeing a potential giant-killing ahead of proceedings.

The first half saw Spurs have more possession, but they were unable to craft many chances to test Freddie Woodman in the Preston goal. However, things after the break changed as Son Heung-Min's curled effort from range found the back of the net to give his side the lead.

The South Korean international has struggled for form this season, but a second goal will give hopes of him recapturing the performances that saw him win last season's golden boot. New signing Arnaut Danjuma made his debut from the bench and even got to show off his signature "cobra" celebration when his miscued effort found its way in.

It marked a huge win for Spurs as Antonio Conte looks to put an end to 15 years without a trophy at the club, though there's still plenty of big fixtures right around the corner. With that said, here's a look at the next five compared to their rivals.

Manchester City (H) - Sunday February 5

Next up for Spurs is a clash with Manchester City as they host the English champions in the second clash in a few weeks between the two sides. The reverse fixture had plenty of positives for Conte as his side raced into a two-goal lead at the halfway mark, but a disappointing collapse in the second half saw them lose 4-2.

Revenge will certainly be on the cards for the Lilywhites against a side that are far from their red hot best as they have shown in recent seasons.

Leicester City (A) - Saturday February 11

Following that is a trip to the Midlands to face Leicester City at the King Power Stadium. The Foxes have struggled so far this campaign, sitting 14th but just one point off the bottom three as part of an intense and dramatic relegation battle that has played out so far.

AC Milan (A) - Tuesday February 14

The Champions League returns in mid-February as Spurs join the round of 16 with a trip to Italy against giants AC Milan in the first leg. The Rossoneri finished second in their group, having lost twice to Chelsea, and the Scudetto holders sit fourth in Serie A after a far from ideal season at this stage.

West Ham (H) - Sunday February 19

A London derby is on the cards in late February as Tottenham host West Ham at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The Hammers have struggled to recapture their form from last season that saw them pushing the top of the table and in a Europa League semi-final, currently sitting 16th.

Chelsea (H) - Sunday February 26

It's not just one London derby at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in late February but there's two as Chelsea make the short trip for the second rival clash of a double header. The Blues have looked a shell of the side they once were, finding themselves mid-table amid a rebuild.

Derby day clashes are far from form based though, with the previous battle ending with a late draw for Spurs in a fiery clash.
