Tottenham Hotspur are set to add to their left-sided options this week, albeit for the future, just as Antonio Conte faces a selection poser over that side of the pitch for the trip to Chelsea.
Spurs began their Premier League season in style with a comfortable 4-1 victory against Southampton at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday afternoon thanks to goals from Ryan Sessegnon, Eric Dier and Dejan Kulusevski as well as an own goal from Mohammed Salisu.
Up next on Sunday Tottenham make the trip to Chelsea and a ground in Stamford Bridge that has brought little joy over the years for them but Conte will be hoping to capitalise on a summer of rebuilding for Thomas Tuchel's men. Conte will also have plenty of decisions to make himself despite Saturday's victory, such as whether to keep Sessegnon in the team after his impressive display or hand big game player Ivan Perisic his first start in the derby as his fitness improves.

When it comes to the left-hand side, Spurs are set to add to their options for the future with the £22m signing of 19-year-old Destiny Udogie from Udinese with a loan back this season to the Italian club to continue the Italy U21 star's development ahead of arriving at Hotspur Way next summer.
Our Tottenham correspondents Alasdair Gold and Rob Guest discuss the teenager's impending move as well as more transfers on the horizon at the north London club, while also dissecting the victory against the Saints in the latest episode of their podcast Gold & Guest Talk Tottenham.
