Tottenham Hotspur's response to questions from the supporters' trust has split opinions among the fanbase.
The Tottenham Hotspur Supporters' Trust put four key questions to the club which were finally answered after the transfer window had closed this week. The responses from the club's hierarchy provoked a range of strong opinions and emotions from the Spurs fans who read them.
It came after a January transfer window in which Spurs managed to bring in their £40m top target Pedro Porro, following weeks of difficult negotiations with Sporting, who did not want to lose the right wing-back. The 23-year-old Spaniard arrived following the signing of Villareal attacker Arnaut Danjuma on loan with a £21m option to buy.

Players also headed out of the club on loan in the shape of Djed Spence, Bryan Gil and Harvey White, while Matt Doherty mutually agreed to terminate his contract, which had 18 months remaining, once it was realised that Spurs already had the limit of eight players out on international loans.
On top of that Antonio Conte fell ill on Sunday with severe abdominal pain while back home in Italy during a couple of days off after the FA Cup win at Preston. Following a diagnosis of cholecystitis, the Spurs head coach successfully underwent surgery to remove his gallbladder on Wednesday ahead of a period of recuperation.
Our Spurs correspondents Alasdair Gold and Rob Guest discuss all of the above and plenty more in the latest episode of their Gold & Guest Talk Tottenham podcast. You can find the show on most podcast platforms by heading right here.
