Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy will do all he can to keep Harry Kane from joining a Premier League rival amid interest from Manchester United, according to reports.
United have been keeping tabs on Kane's future in north London, with the striker entering the final 18 months of his contract and potentially eyeing a move away from his boyhood club. The 29-year-old surpassed Jimmy Greaves to become Spurs' all-time top goalscorer last weekend, a milestone that could encourage the striker to look elsewhere in search of trophies.
Kane is among a number of strikers on Erik ten Hag's watchlist, with United planning to splash the cash on a world-class forward in the summer. Wout Weghorst joined on loan for the rest of the season but the Dutchman is yet to score in the Premier League.

However, 90min report that any approach for the England international will be stubbornly refused, with Levy set to resist all domestic offers no matter the price. Bayern Munich are also known to be keen on taking Kane to Germany, but the forward's desire to surpass Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League record could keep him in England, forcing a deadlock between player and club.
Elsewhere, the Daily Mail report that United are monitoring Royal Antwerp midfielder Arthur Vermeeren but face competition from Newcastle United and other Premier League sides.
Vermeeren recently signed a new contract that will keep him in Belgium until 2026 but is being closely monitored as the continent's top sides weigh up a future approach.
The 18-year-old made his first-team debut in the Europa Conference League last August and has already become an important player for manager Mark van Bommel, racking up 10 league appearances.
Ten Hag's side face competition from Newcastle in luring the teenager across to the Premier League, and with that new deal recently secured, Antwerp will likely demand at least £20million.
