Fraser Forster
The big goalkeeper had very little to do on his return to the line-up, without a save to make, but he did everything else he needed to with confidence. 6
Japhet Tanganga
Back in the team and he will get the assist for what was a simple pass to Son for his first goal. A solid display from the Spurs academy product. 7
Davinson Sanchez
Captain for the night, the Colombian did little wrong in the game than one awkward moment in the first half when a ball deflected off his heel. 7

Clement Lenglet
Had a couple of early wobbles. Did pick out Perisic in the Preston box with a good second half cross and helped keep the clean sheet. 7
Matt Doherty
Didn't see much of the ball throughout his display but didn't do much with it when he did get it. 5
Yves Bissouma
A bright and industrious display from the Mali international as he dominated much of his midfield work. Playing a driving role in Spurs' third goal with his run through the middle. 8
Rodrigo Bentancur
Made an important block in his own box 20 minutes in. Continues to build his fitness even if this wasn't one of his better showings. 7
Ryan Sessegnon
A poor first half with some wayward attempted deliveries into the box and it didn't get much better after the break before he was replaced. He needs to find some form otherwise with Destiny Udogie arriving in the summer he could find himself as the odd man out. 4
Dejan Kulusevski
Had Spurs' first chance of the night with a shot deflected just wide. It was a quiet game for the Swede on the whole until he showed some good feet and a perfect delivery for Danjuma to fire home his debut goal. 7
Ivan Perisic
Playing through the centre, he struggled at times in the first half to provide the hold-up play a natural front man would. He improved though and after forcing the keeper into a save from Lenglet's cross, he then played a deft flick into Son for Spurs' and the South Korean's second goal. 7
Son Heung-min
Almost caught out Preston keeper Woodman with a curling early shot and looked to be Spurs' main threat in the first half. Five minutes into the second period he showed that he was with a wonderful dipping effort past the goalkeeper. He doubled his tally with a smart turn and shot in the hosts' box. He was a level above everyone on the pitch and hopefully this proves to be his restart. 9
Subs
Arnaut Danjuma
A dream debut with a low finish to complete Spurs' journey into the fifth round. Played through the centre and was a very mobile threat to Preston. 7
Oliver Skipp
A bright cameo from the midfielder with a few penetrative passes through to the attackers. 6
Emerson Royal
Came on for Doherty but didn't add much more than Doherty did. 5
Bryan Gil
Some nice little touches and turns in his late appearance and played his part in the third goal. N/A
