Fraser Forster
Didn't have much to do until the second half when he saved low down from Johnson. Then made a terrific reaction save to keep out Aurier's close range header from a corner before saving again with his leg this time from Dennis moments later. He did however come out and miss a corner leaving Worrall to head home behind him, but he made up for it with a good penalty save from Ayew in added time. Could he end up being Spurs' best signing of last summer? 8
Cristian Romero
All eyes were on his discipline after that latest red card and he kept that in check throughout. He played an excellent first-time pass through to Richarlison in the build-up to the third goal. 8
Eric Dier
Back in the defence and he didn't do much wrong in the centre of the back three. 7

Clement Lenglet
Back on the left of the back three after his stint in the centre. He played a couple of passes that put Spurs in trouble but was also in the wars with a few bruising encounters. 6
Pedro Porro
Registered his first Tottenham assist with a perfect curling cross on to Kane's head 20 minutes in. Also involved in the second goal with a chipped ball to Kane in the build-up to the penalty. Looked really bright and clearly far more confident now in his place in this Spurs team. 8
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg
The Dane was a controlling presence in the centre of the pitch, making the important runs when he needed to in both halves of the pitch. 7
Oliver Skipp
Another dominant display in the centre of the pitch. He's really hitting his groove and played a great diagonal ball into Richarlison's path for what everyone thought was the opening goal. 8
Ben Davies
Did his part in keeping the move alive for Kane's opening goal with a sliding get and pass in the Forest box. Might have got tighter to Worrall for Forest's goal but forced Navas into a flying save with a header at the other end. 7
Richarlison
Back in the team and involved in everything. He thought he had opened the scoring in the opening minutes from Skipp's pass but VAR decided he was offside. He played his part in Kane's opening goal with battling down the right and then he was brought down for the penalty Kane slotted home. He then ran down the right and at the second attempt picked out Son to score Spurs' third. Still needs that goal himself but this was a good display. 8
Harry Kane
Linked up the play well throughout. Sent a trademark header into the far corner from Porro's cross 20 minutes in. Played a nutmeg pass to Richarlison which led to the penalty and then he struck that home, his first spot kick since the World Cup. He's now just five Premier League goals behind second-placed Wayne Rooney in the all-time goalscorer ranks. 9
Son Heung-min
Lively from the start and spread the ball around really well with confidence. Got his reward in the second half with a composed touch and finish from Richarlison's cross. Looked more like the old constantly threatening Son with a few shots blocked or saved and he put in a great cross for Davies to head at goal late on. 8
Subs
Dejan Kulusevski
Came on and almost scored with a good shot on the run that was saved but then gave away a penalty with a handball and he was fortunate to see Forster save the spot kick. 5
Lucas Moura
Didn't offer much in his short cameo. 5
Pape Matar Sarr
Replaced Skipp in the final moments. N/A
