Fraser Forster
Very little he could do with Liverpool's first-half goals and had nothing of note to do after that with the hosts not testing him at all. 6
Cristian Romero
Saw Luis Diaz nip in ahead of him at the front post to double Liverpool's lead and then hacked down Cody Gakpo in the area to give the referee no option but to point to the penalty spot. Pushed upfield early in the second half and volleyed against the post and then later set up Son Heung-min with a fantastic pass that cut Liverpool open. 5

Eric Dier
Gakpo ran off him far too easily for the second goal and was then lucky to get away with some really sloppy passing. Tottenham need so much better from him. 3
Ben Davies
Named in the starting XI in place of Clement Lenglet and put in a strong performance at the back. 5
Pedro Porro
Was next to Romero marking Diaz when Curtis Jones was in acres of space behind him to net the opener. Struggled defensively despite playing in his natural position. Did see a powerful drive tipped over by Alisson early in the second half. 4
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg
Liverpool were running through Tottenham's midfield at ease to begin with until Spurs started to come into the game before the break. Got so much better as the game went on and wanted a penalty after going down under Trent Alexander-Arnold's challenge. 7
Oliver Skipp
Very lucky not to get a card for a bad challenge on Diaz not long before half-time. Did split the Liverpool backline with a fine pass to Ivan Perisic that resulted in Harry Kane's goal and battled well in midfield as he put in a brilliant shift. 8
Ivan Perisic
Not much to do in an attacking sense to begin with but did put in a fine cross after turning Virgil van Dijk that Kane volleyed home. Another decent performance from the Croat. 6
Dejan Kulusevski
Returned to the starting XI after a positive cameo appearance in midweek and didn't track Jones' run for the first goal after initially winning the ball off him. Was put through on goal shortly after Kane's strike but shot straight at Alisson instead of squaring to the striker who was in a much better position. Did tee up Son's effort that hit the post in the second half before later making way. 4
Harry Kane
Gave Spurs a glimmer of hope just before half-time after volleying in Perisic's cross and would have had a second if Kulusevski teed him up just before half-time. Another good performance from the captain as he tried to help Spurs mount a comeback. 8
Son Heung-min
Back on the left flank with Kulusevski coming into the side, saw an effort expertly cleared off the line by Van Dijk in the closing stages of the first half. Was very close to adding to his tally shortly after the break as he shot against the post before getting his name on the scoresheet in the closing stages with a low finish. 8
Substitutes
Pape Matar Sarr (Dejan Kulusevski, 66)
Introduced in a midfield three midway through the second half. 5
Richarlison (Oliver Skipp, 84)
Wanted a penalty but his claims were waved away. Finally got his first Premier League goal for Tottenham with a header that bounced over Alisson in stoppage time. 7
Arnaut Danjuma (Ivan Perisic, 90)
On for the closing minutes as they looked to equalise. N/A
Lucas Moura (Pedro Porro, 90)
On for the closing minutes and his back pass was seized upon by Jota to net a late winner. N/A
