Tottenham’s season got off to the worst possible start as they were beaten 3-0 by Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium.

Brentford started the more aggressive of the two teams and took the lead after 12 minutes as Keane Lewis-Potter slid home Mamadou Sangare’s cut-back.
