His first Premier League appearance in a Tottenham shirt and he was unfortunate to concede the opening goal, saving a deflected Jensen shot but with the unmarked Janelt able to fire it straight back past him. Made a reaction save with his leg after the half hour mark to deny Zanka. Threw himself into dangerous situations in the second half without being tested with a shot on target. 6
Japhet Tanganga
His first start of the season and he was up against one of the toughest challenges in the Premier League right now in Ivan Toney and it showed as the Brentford man ran him ragged throughout. 4
Eric Dier
Looked shaky at times and that was summed up by the wildly sliced clearance that gifted Brentford the corner they scored their second goal from. 5

Clement Lenglet
Could only deflect Jensen's effort at Forster which led to the opening goal. Lost Toney for Brentford's second goal. Made up for it somewhat with a perfect curling cross for Kane to head home. He then sent in another fine ball that Kane headed against the crossbar. 6
Matt Doherty
Back on the right after starting on the left in the past three friendlies and he had less impact in his natural position. 5
Yves Bissouma
He and Hojbjerg both let Janelt get in between them unmarked to run in and score in the first half. He also tripped over his own feet in the centre of the pitch in the first half leading to Toney running through and putting the ball into the net but being flagged offside. Got better in the second half but still nowhere near the player he was at Brighton. 5
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg
Janelt ghosted in behind him to score for Brentford in the first half. Started the game sluggishly but got better as it wore on and levelled the scores with a perfect curling effort inside the left-hand post. 7
Ivan Perisic
Back in the starting line-up just a week after winning the third-place play-off match with Croatia. Sent a couple of dangerous balls into the Brentford box and fought away down the left-hand side. 7
Dejan Kulusevski
One early dribble past his man took him into the box before a scuffed shot at the keeper. Set up Hojbjerg's equaliser with a low deflected pass. Just needed a bit more composure in some key situations. 6
Harry Kane
Barely involved for long periods in the first half. Did appear to be wrestled to the ground in the Brentford box but the officials and VAR were not having it. He then did what he does best in the second half with a towering header to send Lenglet's cross arrowing into the far corner. He then bravely put his head in for an effort that sent the ball on to the Brentford crossbar. Went over to applaud the Spurs fans at the end. He's now scored against every one of the 32 Premier League teams he's faced and he's four off Jimmy Greaves' Tottenham record. 7
Son Heung-min
Looked bright in spells and got a couple of shots away which the keeper held comfortably. Had one late chance that the keeper saved. 6

Davinson Sanchez
Replaced Tanganga in the second half and looked solid at the back. Also sent one powerful shot at the Brentford goal. 7
Ben Davies
Replaced Lenglet late in the game. N/A
