Tottenham recovered from 2-0 down to earn a brilliant 3-2 win over at Bournemouth, sealed by Rodrigo Bentancur’s stoppage-time goal.

Kieffer Moore capitalised on sloppy Spurs defending either side of half-time, scoring with his right foot and head, to put the Cherries 2-0 up inside 50 minutes.

Ryan Sessegnon dragged Spurs back into the game with a low finish and Ben Davies equalised by heading home from a corner.

Dan Kilpatrick was at the Vitality Stadium to rate the Spurs players...

Hugo Lloris 6

Well beaten by Moore’s two fine finishes. Quick off his line to smother Marcus Tavernier 1v1 in the first half.

Davinson Sanchez 4

Dragged out of position for both of Moore’s goals and looked uncomfortable in and out of possession. Spurs improved when he went off.

Clement Lenglet 6

Turned too easily by Dominic Solanke for the opening goal in a shaky audition for the central defensive role. Improved when Dier came on and Spurs’ were on the front foot.

Ben Davies 6

Had a stinker defensively but got the all-important equaliser with smart movement and a cool header. The Cherries were a constant threat in transition down Spurs’ left flank, and he was beaten to the ball by Tavernier for the opening goal.

Emerson Royal 4

His afternoon was summed up by a hopeful shot which flew out of the stadium, clearning the Steve Fletcher Stand.

Yves Bissouma 5

Still yet to get going for Spurs after another subdued and rusty display in the midfield three.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg 7

Stepped up when his side were facing adversity with a fine assist for Sessegnon.

Oliver Skipp 6

Recycled the ball fairly well in the first half but his crosses rarely found a target. Hooked at half-time.

Ryan Sessegnon 7

Took his goal well, albeit with help from a slight deflection. Otherwise struggled to deliver a final ball on the rare occasuions he managed to get behind or to the byline.

Heung-min Son 6

Not at his best again but his corner did lead to Betancur’s winner. Ultimately frustrated in the final third and will surely be the biggest beneficiary of the return of Dejan Kulusevski and Richarlison.

Harry Kane 7

Looked the only Spurs players likely to make something happen in a pedestrian first half and extended Travers after the interval.

Subs

Lucas Moura (Skipp 45’) 7

Caused the Cherries some problems with his direct running and won a dangerous late free kick.

Eric Dier (Sanchez 58’) 8

Unusually played on the right of the back three and did well, getting forward and whipping in a number of great crosses.

Rodrigo Bentancur (Bissouma 58’) 8

Turned the game, adding composure and intensity to the midfield, and for the second game running was the goalscoring hero with a cool finish. Undroppable?

Ivan Perisic (Emerson 63’) 7

His quality from set pieces was a huge threat and his corner was headed home by Davies for the equaliser.

Bryan Gil (Sessegnon 83’) 6

Lively in another late cameo.
