Spurs continue to monitor Everton forward
Tottenham Hotspur will continue to monitor the situation with Everton winger Anthony Gordon ahead of the January transfer window, football.london understands.
Spurs explored a potential double deal for both Richarlison and Gordon during the last summer transfer window but were only able to prise away the Brazilian in a move that could eventually be worth £60m with add-ons. Chelsea also looked at signing the England U21 international but in the end a move never materialised for the Toffees' academy product.
Since then versatile 21-year-old has continued to develop at Everton and has scored more than a quarter of his team's goals in the Premier League this season, with three of their 11 goals in the competition. He has started all but four of their 15 games so far with Frank Lampard's side sitting 17th in the table and only four points above bottom side Wolves. The young attacker scored the winning penalty against former Spurs goalkeeper Joe Hart in a shoot-out this weekend as Everton overcame Celtic on tour in Australia in the Sydney Super Cup.

FIFA enforce World Cup ban on Harry Kane and England
England have been told by FIFA that 'OneLove' armbands will not be permitted during the World Cup as Harry Kane faces possible punishment if he chooses to wear the armband as a gesture of solidarity during the World Cup opener against Iran on Monday.
Gareth Bale also planned to wear the armbands in order to express their support of the LGBTQ+ and other marginalised groups following Qatari laws against being gay, but FIFA hasn't supported the act from participating teams, leaving the FA frustrated.
Talks took place with the world footballing organisation on Sunday after FIFA had announced new armband themes that would be allowed, including #SaveThePlanet, #ProtectChildren, #EducationForAll and #BeActive.
Although the new designs would include the heart from the OneLove armband it wouldn't have the rainbow on and wouldn't be associated with the LGBTQ+ community.
Graeme Souness makes Harry Kane point ahead of England opener
Graeme Souness believes that Harry Kane is England's only world class player as Gareth Southgate's men prepare to take on Iran in their opening World Cup game.
Ahead of England's first game, former Liverpool and Spurs midfielder Souness, now a pundit for Sky Sports, believes that Kane is the country's only top class player.
"Harry Kane is a world class player. We’re in a business now where everyone leaves as a club legend and everyone’s a great player, but Harry Kane is a world class player," the Scot told William Hill and Footy Accumulators' new show No Tippy Tappy Football. "I'll give you my definition of a world class player. You are world class if you can leave the club you’re at and then can go and play in another team effortlessly.
"England only have one player that I would put in that category in their squad in my opinion, and that’s Harry Kane. My fear is that other than Harry, where are the goals going to come from? That’s a problem for Gareth [Southgate]. That’s why I would play [James] Maddison – he’s the best out of any attacking midfield player at the moment in terms of getting assist and scoring goals."
