Here is your Tottenham morning digest for Tuesday, October 11.
Companies queue up to sponsor stadium
Reports have suggested that Google are in talks with Daniel Levy over naming rights for the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. But it is not the first time they have been linked with a deal, nor are they the first company to be tipped to sign a contract with the north Londoners.
The Athletic have reported "meaningful talks" between Google and Spurs over a deal, but football.london understand there is no agreement any company is close at this stage. Back in 2020, a picture of a model of Tottenham's stadium said to be in Google's head office in London sparked speculation that a deal could have been done with the global brand, although nothing has come to fruition as yet.
Nike were also linked with a deal, with many supporters suggesting it could be called Nike Hart Lane if so, in a homage to the old ground, but Levy quashed those rumours with Spurs' current kit suppliers when he confirmed that no talks had been held with the company as "sponsoring stadiums is not what Nike do as a business".

Son plays down hard Tottenham fixture run
Tottenham's schedule is somewhat punishing at present, with games every few days in the Premier League and Champions League up until football pauses for the World Cup midway through November. Despite barely having any breathing time with the fixtures coming thick and fast, Son believes it is something they should enjoy as they are living their dream.
"It is hard, to be honest. Travelling and being away from home, it's not easy. But we're born to do this, and everyone dreams about it, so we don't have time to complain," he admitted. "When you think about when you were a kid, what was your dream? Probably everyone is going to say playing in the Premier League. So we're living the dream, and we can never forget these moments.
"I know there are tired moments, and it's mentally and physically really, really difficult. But we were born to do this, we love to do this, and we should enjoy it. And obviously, the more you enjoy it, the more happiness will be here. I know it's tough moments, but we should bring more happiness, and it will be more enjoyable."
Winks and Reguilon hand Paratici transfer concern
With permanent moves unfortunately not coming to fruition, Sergio Reguilon returned to Madrid to link up with Atletico on a season-long loan deal, and Harry Winks headed to Italian side Sampdoria on similar terms. Now approaching the midway point in October, both players have yet to make an appearance for their respective clubs this season.
A year of struggles and it will be harder to part with the duo permanently, whereas good seasons could see clubs looking to snap them up on long-term contracts. Key to that, of course, will be pitch time, something both have yet to do at their respective new clubs.
