Son drops hint on Tottenham future

Son Heung-min believes he has a "few more years" left in him as he aims to climb even higher up the Tottenham goalscoring ranks.

The South Korean star has found his feet again in front of goal for Spurs in recent weeks with three goals and one assist in his past five Premier League games to make it 12 goals and four assists for the season so far.

His low early strike on Saturday in the 3-2 defeat to Bournemouth was also a milestone moment as it took Son to 143 goals for the club.

Chelsea-linked Luis Enrique to be contacted by Spurs

Tottenham will be stepping up their search for a new manager in the coming days as the club are set to contact Chelsea-linked Luis Enrique, according to a new report.

The former Spain boss had been briefly mentioned in the new manager conversations from north London but those talks went somewhat quiet following the surprise sacking of Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann who almost immediately became Spurs' number one target.

Alongside Spurs, Chelsea are also searching for a new manager and have already laid down considerable groundwork in their pursuit of a new head coach holding in-person talks with both Nagelsmann and Enrique and Spurs now look set to do the same.

Tottenham hero gives Howe and Potter verdict

Darren Anderton believes that Tottenham "missed the boat" when it came to appointing Eddie Howe as head coach.

Earning rave reviews for the job he did at Bournemouth after helping the Cherries climb from the foot of League Two to the Premier League, the 45-year-old was linked with a number of top jobs during his time at the Vitality Stadium.

Graham Potter's name has also been mentioned with the vacant Tottenham hotseat following his Chelsea exit, but Anderton was left unsure over how his potential arrival would go down with supporters.
