Here is your Tottenham morning digest on Monday, February 21.
Martinez lauds Spurs' transfer business
Roberto Martinez believes both Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur will become a success at Tottenham following their deadline day arrivals.
Spurs completed the double signing of the Juventus duo late on last month, with Bentancur arriving on a permanent deal, whereas Kulusevski is only on a two-season loan.
The latter, Kulusevski, netted his first goal for Tottenham in Saturday's dramatic win against Manchester City and after the game, Martinez heaped praise on Spurs' latest additions.
He said: "If I was a Spurs fan I would be delighted to see how Antonio Conte can shape their project.
"He can be emotional to motivate and you saw in the game against Leicester where they went from losing to winning, that is Conte. He is working on the mentality and personality of the group, he is going to bring players in and you need to give him a list over three windows.
"What he did with Inter was one of the hardest jobs in European football, beating Juventus to the Scudetto, and he did it in 12 months.
"I think he is totally capable of doing that at any level. The two signings – Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur – are sensational signings they could bring something special."
Neville warns Man Utd in top four battle
Gary Neville has issued a clear warning to Manchester United over their "tough" run of games they have ahead of them in the Premier League.
United, who beat Leeds United 4-2 on Sunday afternoon, currently occupy fourth spot in the league table as Tottenham look to steal it off them between now and the end of the season.
Neville, when speaking on Sky Sports, thinks his former club have a difficult time ahead of them in the coming weeks.
I mean obviously Manchester United’s run over the last couple of months has been welcoming for Ralf Rangnick but he’s got a tough period now in front of him," Neville said.
"I think he’ll recognise that Tottenham result yesterday will just boost them to a point whereby they’re in decline in the season so that will shock United a bit. They can’t afford to drop points here today.
"This February-March period was always on the horizon. I think that everyone knew Manchester United’s run of fixtures over Christmas and into January were okay."
Conte brutally ignored by Hojbjerg
In the full-time celebrations on Saturday evening, some Tottenham fans spotted manager Antonio Conte being brutally ignored by Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
It looks as if the snub from Hojbjerg was unintentional, but some Spurs supporters still found it humorous - Conte, less so.
The Italian coach went to hug the Denmark international, but he carried on walking, leaving the manager with his arms out each side with a disappointed face on show.
That will not have spoiled Conte's mood, though, with Tottenham picking up a famous victory in Manchester.
