Here is your Tottenham morning round-up on Thursday, March 23.
Porro hits out at Sherwood
Tottenham wing-back Pedro Porro has hit out at former Spurs boss Tim Sherwood after the ex-manager criticised the Spaniard's debut for the club against Leicester. Sherwood questioned the January signing's desire to defend after the Lilywhites were hammered 4-1 by the Foxes.
Porro has since hit back, telling the media while on international duty: "I have taken a lot of stick. There was the coach [Tim Sherwood], I don’t remember [his name] now. I try not to take any notice but it’s impossible because people will say 'Did you see that?' I’d never played in England in my life. What do you want, for me to score five goals and cut out seventy balls in my first game? Anyone can have a bad day."

Kulusevski transfer impact
The seemingly imminent departure of Antonio Conte as Tottenham manager will not have an impact on Dejan Kulusevski joining the club permanently this summer. The Sweden international arrived at Spurs on an initial 18-month loan in the 2022 January transfer window.
Now approaching the end of that deal, the 22-year-old is expecting the option to buy in his contract to be activated at the end of this season, despite Conte's uncertain future.
Emerson Royal's Tottenham turning point
Emerson Royal has admitted finding out that he is going to be a father helped him return to his "highest level of performance".
Joining Tottenham from Barcelona in the summer of 2021, the Brazilian endured a really difficult start to life in north London as he tried to adapt to playing as a right wing-back having always operated as a right-back throughout his career.
