Zaniolo swap deal
Italian outlet Calciomercatoweb have claimed that Tottenham are willing to offer Argentine playmaker Giovani Lo Celso to AS Roma in a bid to lure Italy international Nicolo Zaniolo to N17. Lo Celso is said to be rated by the Serie A outfit and is valued at around €20m (£17m).
The Italian side will only sell the 23-year-old for around €50m (£42m) and therefore using the former Real Betis star as a makeweight in any deal could help significantly lower a fee for Zaniolo.

Lucas Paqueta bid
According to French outlet L'Equipe, Spurs had a €40 million (£33.5 million) bid for Lyon star Lucas Paqueta turned down back in January of this year and the player is said to prefer a move to join the Lillywhites over local rivals Arsenal this summer. football.london reported back in June that Tottenham director of football Fabio Paratici has an interest in the Brazilian international, with Premier League side Newcastle United also attempting to sign him during the winter window.
The talented playmaker enjoyed an extremely productive 2021/22 campaign with the French outfit, scoring 11 times and providing a further seven assists in all competitions.

Scarlett exit
Tottenham youngster Dane Scarlett has joined League One outfit Portsmouth on a season-long loan. Scarlett is highly-rated by the north London club and signed a new long-term contract with the Lillywhites back in May. The talented frontman is certainly one for the future and he has now joined Pompey on loan as he looks for some regular first-team experience ahead of the 2022/23 season.
Spurs' statement read : "Dane Scarlett has joined League One side Portsmouth on loan for the 2022/23 season. The Academy striker, 18, made seven appearances for our first team in all competitions last term, taking his tally up to 10 since his debut against Ludogorets in November, 2020."
