Conte open to more transfers
Tottenham manager Antonio Conte has admitted that the club will continue to look to strengthen their squad in the transfer market should the right opportunities present themselves.
football.london understands that Daniel Levy will significantly back Conte this summer as shown by the club's busy start to the transfer window, welcoming five new additions to N17. The Italian wants the Lilywhites to be competitive in every competition they play in this season but has admitted that depth is needed for that to happen.
Speaking in his most recent press conference ahead of Spurs game against Team K League, Conte said: "We signed five players and when the ideas are very clear, I think also for the club it’s more simple to go in the transfer window to go and sign the players. It was very clear our plan and the positions that we needed to improve.
Juventus want Reguilon
football.london understands that the arrival of Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan pushes Reguilon down the pecking order at Spurs and is likely to leave following the Spaniard's omission from the club's pre-season tour of South Korea.
According to Calciomercato in Italy, Antonio Conte's former side Juventus are now preparing a move for Reguilon as they look to battle Sevilla for his signature.
The 25-year-old defender joined the Lilywhites from Real Madrid in 2020 for a fee in the region of £25million. Spurs are unlikely to recoup a similar fee for Reguilon that they paid for him two years ago, but any income could be put towards other targets such as Djed Spence.
Depay snubs Spurs
According to Spanish news outlet SPORT, Barcelona want to move Memphis Depay on as the club look to improve the financial situation at the club, despite pursuing deals for Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha.
The report states that Depay is not interested in the possibility of signing for Spurs, despite the fact that he would play in the Champions League, in a project that wants to challenge for important titles.
football.london understands that Spurs want to sign two or three new players before the transfer deadline later this summer.
