Gary Neville has aimed a subtle dig at Tottenham Hotspur in his latest assessment of his former club Manchester United.
United were knocked out of the Champions League on Tuesday night as they lost 1-0 to Diego Simeone's Atletico Madrid as Renan Lodi's first-half header proved the difference at Old Trafford. And Sky Sports pundit Neville believes the match proved a theory he had following United's 3-2 win over Spurs.
It comes as Arsenal have been linked with a shock summer transfer move for one of Tottenham's players. And Harry Kane broke an impressive goalscoring record Tottenham's Premier League win over Brighton.

Neville's subtle Spurs dig
Gary Neville has said Manchester United's loss to Atletico Madrid proves he was right after the Red Devils' beat Tottenham 3-2 at the weekend.
Spurs fell to a defeat at Old Trafford as Cristiano Ronaldo scored a magnificent hat-trick, but Neville refused to get carried away after the result. And Neville says that his assessment was justified after United's 1-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid, as he said: "Any decent team, with organisation and fight are likely to beat this United team."
Arsenal show shock transfer interest
Tottenham Hotspur's bitter rivals Arsenal could be set to make a shocl summer transfer swoop for Steven Bergwijn, it has been claimed.
Bergwijn joined Spurs in January 2020 in a £27million move from PSV Eindhoven but has managed just six goals and five assists in 51 Premier League appearances. That has led to reports linking the winger with a summer move aweay from Spurs, with Serie A giants AC Milan one of the sides rumoured to also be following his situation.
But bitter rivals Arsenal could also make a shock offer for the Dutch winger – with reports claiming he could be available for as little as £15million.
Kane breaks record
Harry Kane has reacted to breaking Wayne Rooney's Premier League record for most away goals scored.
Cristian Romero put Spurs in front before the break in their match against Brighton, before Kane entered the record books just before the hour by scoring his 95th goal away from home – more than any other player. The England captain also managed the incredible feat in far fewer games than Rooney, and he's now spoken about how he feels about holding the record for most away goals in the Premier League.
