Dejan Kulusevski wins prestigious Swedish award
Dejan Kulusevski has earned recognition for a stand-out first year in the Premier League by being awarded the 2022 Guldbollen, the prize for Sweden’s best male player.
Presented by national newspaper Aftonbladet and the Swedish Football Association, the prestigious award is handed out at the end of each calendar year, with Kulusevski becoming the youngest recipient of the trophy since 1990.
Since joining Spurs on loan from Juventus last January, the Swedish winger has scored six goals and providing 13 assists across 33 appearances in all competitions.
He has also scored one goal and laid on three assists in seven games for the Sweden national team during that time.

Tottenham were 'close' to signing Nicolo Zaniolo in the summer
Tottenham Hotspur came close to signing Nicolo Zaniolo over the summer and meetings were held over a potential transfer, according to Italian agent Massimo Brambati who has been speaking to Tuttomercatoweb about the Roma star.
Brambati claims that Tottenham ‘were close to signing Zaniolo’ during the summer transfer window. Brambati suggests that Zaniolo and his father met with Tottenham officials to try and thrash out a deal.
Brambati feels that Jose Mourinho just isn’t the right coach for Zaniolo and believes that the Italian ace would be better off elsewhere. The agent claims that Tottenham boss Antonio Conte would be able to get more out of Zaniolo, suggesting that they would be much better together.
Spurs told they can sign £40million defender
Sporting manager Ruben Amorim has told CNN Portugal that any club wanting to sign Pedro Porro must trigger his release clause. This reportedly stands at €45million (£40million).
Amorim told the media: “With regard to Pedro Porro, we know that there are players in our team who, because of what they have done, are now wanted by other clubs. We had this problem in the summer too.
“What I was told is that he can only leave if the clause is triggered. And if the clause is triggered, there is nothing we can do.
“He is playing really well. Like me, he is living one of the best moments of his career and he is only focused on Sporting.
“We are prepared for anything and we know that there are clubs who can pay the clause. But, until that happens, I think Pedro is safe.”
