Huge director of football update
Tottenham are beginning to narrow down the field when it comes to appointing their new director of football.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is simultaneously running the club's search for a new head coach as well as the director of football, with a desire to pick a candidate for each position with similar values and football beliefs.

Tottenham are understood to have narrowed down the field when it comes to the hunt for their new director of football with Roma's Tiago Pinto and ex-Bayer Leverkusen sporting director Tim Steidten among the candidates at this stage, along with one other name.

Tottenham takeover prediction
Tottenham could be on Sheikh Jassim's radar if he misses out on Manchester United, it has been claimed.
The Qatari billionaire is in the conversation to purchase Spurs' Premier League rivals alongside Sir Jim Ratcliffe. Both interested parties are awaiting a decision from the Glazers.
Jassim confirmed his intentions to buy the 19-time Premier League winners back in February before submitting a world-record bid in excess of £5billion, but he could now turn his attention to Spurs.

Lo Celso to Aston Villa talk
It won't be long at all until Giovani Lo Celso is back at Hotspur Way following his year on loan in La Liga.
Linking up with Villarreal once again as his previous loan deal was not made permanent and another temporary move was instead agreed upon, the 27-year-old has made 25 appearances for the Yellow Submarines in all competitions this term.
Ahead of his summer return to N17, Lo Celso has already been linked with a reunion with Unai Emery at fellow Premier League side Aston Villa.
