Antonio Conte has fired a warning to his Tottenham Hotspur players following the disappointing loss to Southampton on Wednesday night.
Southampton scored twice in two minutes late on to deal Tottenham’s top-four chances a bitter blow as they won a breathless Premier League encounter 3-2.
Spurs looked to be heading towards the points after a Jan Bednarek own goal and a Son Heung-min effort either side of Armando Broja’s equaliser gave them a 2-1 lead.
However, headed goals from Mohamed Elyounoussi and Che Adams in quick succession turned the game on its head and handed the win to Saints.
And Conte has now warned his players following the game.
It comes as Spurs' new signings were blamed for the defeat by Tim Sherwood, and as the club consider a 'historic bid' to host the 2026 Super Bowl.

Super Bowl bid considered
Spurs are considering a bid to host the 2026 NFL Super Bowl at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, it has been claimed.
The stadium already plays host to NFL games but the club are now reported to have their eyes seton hosting the first Super Bowl to be played overseas.
But Spurs bosses face several hurdles to land the historic occasion, with major logistical complications due to the time difference between the United Kingdom and the US.
And there could also be resistance to hosting the game from those on UK shores.
New signings blamed
Former Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood has said newly signed Juventus pair Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski were toblame for the disappointing loss to Southampton.
While both players started the game from the substitutes' bench, Bentancur came on 10 minutes before Heung-Min Son put his side 2-1 ahead in the 60th minute, while Kulusevski was brought on six minutes later.
But Sherwood has gone in on both stars, as well as the club's manager Antonio Conte in a stinging criticism of his former team.
He also revealed the exact moment Spurs lost the game, and it won't make pretty reading for SPurs' new signings.
