Spurs drop Conte replacement hint
Late on Sunday evening, the news finally broke that many Tottenham supporters had been waiting to see all week with the departure of Antonio Conte announced.
At the start of the international break it was widely reported that Tottenham and Conte were set to part ways, and with the just over 90 minutes of that week remaining, the news was confirmed.
Tottenham's club statement was only three paragraphs long, however there was lots to unpack and the club may have even hinted at who is going to replace Conte.

Emerson Royal to undergo knee surgery
Emerson Royal could miss much of the rest of the season as he requires surgery on a knee injury.
The 24-year-old has had a bright season at Tottenham, bouncing back from criticism over his performances to play some of his best football for the club, which earned him a recall to the Brazil squad. However, he suffered the injury in the final moments of his 90-minute display against Morocco in a friendly on Saturday.
football.london understands that Emerson, who is now back in London, will have an operation on the meniscus in his knee, meaning a recovery period of at least six weeks.

Tottenham Hotspur Supporters' Trust statement after Conte exit
The Tottenham Hotspur Supporters' Trust have called on Spurs chairman Daniel Levy to keep to his promises after the exit of Antonio Conte.
Tottenham announced late on Sunday night that the Italian's time at the club had come to an end after just 16 months and that his assistant Cristian Stellini would be stepping up as interim head coach until the end of the season with Ryan Mason as his assistant head coach.
football.london understands that all of Conte's coaching staff, apart from his brother Gianluca, have remained at the club until the end of the campaign with, it appears, the blessing of their former head coach.
