West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper and England international Sam Johnstone is reportedly getting closer to joining Spurs, with The Mirror as Daniel Levy has reportedly given the greenlight for a move. Levy apparently sees the goalkeeper as a bargain buy that can add quality to the squad while freeing up funds to spend elsewhere.
Johnstone has made more than 160 appearances for West Brom and in that time has won three caps for England. His experience will mean he can come in and compete with Lloris, or potentially even replace him when the French star eventually moves on.
In January, Spurs were heavily linked with a move for Adama Traore, before he chose to return to Barcelona on loan. And now, the Spaniard looks set to return to Wolves, with the club looking to move him on, and TEAMtalk are reporting that Leeds and Spurs are now both in for him ahead of the summer.
Adama started well in Barcelona, but has struggled to nail down a first-team spot and is now not in Xavi's long-term plans. Therefore, he will return to Wolves, and is expected to garner interest, with Conte still in the market for a pacey wing-back.
