Tottenham escaped the festive period unbeaten but not without fresh injury concerns.
As Lucas Bergvall was able to return during the 1-1 draw with Sunderland, Mohammed Kudus was forced off to prompt further fitness issues.
It is a concerning development for Thomas Frank, who days earlier saw Brennan Johnson leave the clup for Crystal Palace.
In better news, Dominic Solanke is back in training, while Destiny Udogie and Dejan Kulusevski will hope to soon join their team-mates at Hotspur Way.
With that in mind, here is the latest Tottenham injury news and return dates…

Mohammed Kudus
Mohammed Kudus was forced off early against Sunderland to spark further injury concerns in attack.
The winger went down off the ball and was seen holding his left thigh in the 16th minute, before being replaced by Randal Kolo Muani and heading straight down the tunnel.
The timing of the injury is unfortunate, given fellow winger Brennan Johnson’s move to Crystal Palace just days earlier.
Without Kudus, Spurs do not have a single natural right winger in their current first-team squad.
Paris Saint-Germain loanee Kolo Muani was left to play out of position after coming on against Sunderland.
Potential return date: Unknown

Dominic Solanke
Dominic Solanke could return from injury by the end of the month, according to Thomas Frank.
Solanke has been out since August with a recurring ankle injury, but was last week pictured in training with his Spurs team-mates.
"Yes, that is positive, no doubt about that,” Frank said of Solanke.
“He is out there on the pitch and part-trained with the group.
"It feels like there could be a possibility for [a return to fitness in January], yes."
Potential return date: January 2026
Destiny Udogie
Destiny Udogie is in contention to return this month from a hamstring injury.
The left-back suffered a soft tissue injury in early December, and Frank said at the time that Udogie would not be out for “too long”. He has now missed seven matches.
With the games still coming thick and fast, the trip to Bournemouth will come too soon for the defender.
Potential return date: January 2026

Dejan Kulusevski
Influential midfielder Dejan Kulusevski is edging ever closer to a return.
The Sweden international has been out since April with a patella injury, but he was back on grass during last month’s international break.
He is yet to rejoin his team-mates in training, meaning seeing match action this month is considered unlikely.
Potential return date: February 2026
James Maddison
James Maddison will miss most, if not all, of the season due to the serious knee injury he suffered during pre-season.
The midfielder suffered an ACL injury in a pre-season friendly with Newcastle in Korea.
Appearing recently on Sky Sports' Monday Night Football show, the midfielder offered an update.
“I'm doing really well for the stage that I'm at, it’s obviously a long injury I have got, I had a big knee surgery,” he said.
“More than anything right now it’s just about staying in the right mindset. I’ve had to accept and get over the fact that I’m going to be out for a long time.
Potential return date: Summer 2026
