Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly eyeing up a deal for Leeds United winger Daniel James, according to Alan Nixon. He claims Spurs are chasing a loan move with a guaranteed permanent £20million option but the Whites would prefer to receive the money now.
Antonio Conte is said to be keen on adding something different to his forward line and feels James' pace can provide that. After serving the final game of his suspension in the opening day win over Wolves, James has been involved in both of Leeds’ last two matches.
He came off the bench in the first half of the 2-2 draw at Southampton, before earning his first start of the season in the impressive 3-0 win against Chelsea. But Leeds have strengthened their options in the front line this summer with the additions of both Luis Sinisterra and Brenden Aaronson.
