Tottenham captain Heung-min Son is due back at the club this week after South Korea crashed out of the Asian Cup.
Jordan beat South Korea 2-0 in the semi-finals, prompting an apology from Son to the fans after his side failed to muster a single shot on target.
The forward is now set to return to Spurs this week and a decision will be made regarding his involvement in Tottenham’s game at home to Brighton on Saturday.
Son’s return will be a huge boost for Spurs as the 31-year-old is the club’s top scorer this season with 12 goals.
The forward has rediscovered his best form since being made captain in the summer by Ange Postecoglou.
In his absence, Richarlison has led the line and the Brazilian has scored four goals in the five games Son has missed.
Son had been hoping to guide South Korea to their first Asian Cup since 1960, but they were stunned by Jordan.
Yazan Al-Naimat and Mousa Al-Tamari struck to fire them to their first ever Asian Cup final and Son was emotional afterward.
“Very disappointing, [I’m] devastated about this result,” he said. “Look, Jordan are having an amazing journey at this tournament.
“It’s incredible and they deserve it. They are fighting until the end. For us, it is very, very disappointing tonight.
“I have no regrets. I was giving everything, to be honest. It was a tough challenge. Now I have to go back to the club and be ready for the rest of the season.”
