Harry Kane is leaning towards staying at Tottenham this summer after Bayern Munich's latest bid was rejected, with a move now considered unlikely.
Spurs turned down Bayern’s latest bid for Kane on Monday, which was understood to be some way short of their valuation of their record goalscorer, and the German giants have been considering whether to make an improved fourth offer.
But Kane, who has entered the final 12 months of his contract, is now preparing to stay at Spurs for the coming season.
It is understood Kane has been impressed by new Spurs head coach Ange Postecoglou’s philosophy and has enjoyed training under the Greek-Australian.
Kane has already made it clear he wants his future resolved by the start of the season and that he expects to remain at Spurs if no agreement has been reached before their opening game at Brentford on Sunday, leaving Bayern short of time to come up with an acceptable offer.
The 30-year-old is not part of the Spurs squad travelling to Spain for a friendly against Barcelona tonight.

Kane and a handful of other senior players who faced Shakhtar Donetsk on Sunday have instead stayed in London to continue their preparations to face Brentford.
Incoming new signings Micky van de Ven and Alejo Veliz are also not part of the squad for the Barcelona game as they await work permits.
