Tottenham Hotspur winger Bryan Gil appears to be on the verge of a deadline day exit, having been pictured in Spain.
The young winger is edging towards signing a loan deal with Valencia, a move that would see the 20-year-old return to his homeland just a few months after becoming a Spurs player.
It appears that an announcement is not too far away, with Gil having been filmed in Valencia by Tribuna Deportiva journalist Salva Gomis.
It of course is now down to the Spanish outfit to conduct their medical checks on the player ahead of his move.
The move is certainly a surprise, with Gil having only signed for Tottenham in the previous summer window, with Argentine winger Erik Lamela going to Sevilla in part-exchange.
However, it appears that the switch is only to allow the youngster to accumulate more experience. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has suggested that the deal is just a regular loan until the end of the season - with no option to buy included.
Gil will certainly hope he gets the opportunity to take to the pitch more regularly at the Mestalla, having made 20 appearances for Spurs this season - only five of those being starts.
Intriguingly, the youngster could potentially be set to be joined by one of his Tottenham teammates at Valencia.
According to The Athletic, Dele Alli is also being considered by the Spanish outfit ahead of a potential deadline day move.
A loan switch could also potentially be signed off, with clubs allowed to sign two players on a temporary deal from the same parent club as per UEFA rules and regulations.
Where Alli himself is interested in moving to remains to be seen but Gil’s switch looks likely to be concluded, allowing for a remarkable reversal in fortunes throughout the course of the day.
The Spaniard's departure is not the only announcement expected from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium throughout deadline day, with Spurs looking to complete a double deal for Juventus duo Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur.
Tanguy Ndombele is also thought to be edging closer to a return to Lyon.
